Course Overview:
Explore current research findings and case studies that help elementary school site administrators navigate aligning PK to 3rd Grade for children, families, and the adults who serve them within schools. This self-paced, modular, digital course offers a compendium of resources that help school leaders understand child development and its implications for high-quality instruction and interactions (PK-3), develop a PK-3rd Grade vision ensuring equitable opportunities for young children (PK-3)and develop dynamic partnerships with families and communities. understand child development, foster partnerships with families and communities.

Robyn Stone, Coordinator, Educator Preparation Programs, Santa Clara County Office of Education
Lisa and Robyn facilitate the Early Learning Leadership Institute, Community of Practice, and Summer TK Academy and Leadership Institute. They have presented on PK-3rd Grade Alignment at the 2023 ACSA Leadership Summit, the 2024 CALSA Leadership Symposium, the 2024 UPK/TK Leadership Symposium, and the 2024 CISC Leadership Symposium. Both Lisa and Robyn have taught at the PK -3rd Grade level. Lisa served as a principal and school district leader before joining the SCCOE. Robyn served as math & science instructional coach (PK-5) at the district level before joining the SCCOE.
