Full course description

Description

How do we make technologies (and materials) more accessible to all learners? Some students thrive using technology to augment their learning. Some students may need some extra support to get the most out of the technology they use. For users with disabilities, the law requires that all digital materials be made accessible to them, including content on school or other education websites. There are many compelling reasons to ensure that materials are accessible to all learners, as the concepts behind digital access for users with disabilities are applicable to everyone. This introductory course will provide opportunities to understand how to ensure that all students can equitably use technology.
