Build your toolkit of learning strategies that engage learners from a variety of backgrounds, while harnessing the powerful learning involved in arts education. Take a look at how educators honor the backgrounds and multilingualism of learners in their classrooms.
Course Proficiencies
The recipient has successfully completed all tasks associated with Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Arts Education, an academy focused on creating conditions for students from all backgrounds to succeed through arts learning. The participant has demonstrated his/her skills in how to amplify a learner's cultural and linguistic background in the classroom to increase student's engagement in school. Additionally, the participant has refined his/her practice of using end-user data to inform instructional decisions. Finally, the participant has demonstrated how to design learning opportunities that are culturally and linguistically responsive and arts-integrated.
